Rolfing
Rolfing works with the connective tissues of the body, reshaping the structures that give our bodies their intrinsic forms to create effortlessly healthy movement and posture.
Rolfing can be received in the form of individual sessions that target specific problems such as lower back pain, frozen shoulder, sciatica, headaches, and more, or classically, as a 10-session program that addresses musculo-skeletal issues in the entire body and acts as a whole-body structural makeover.
A common question we hear is, "Is Rolfing painful?" The answer is that while Rolfing can sometimes be uncomfortable as we are unwinding very deep seated patterns or adhesions that are to blame for chronic pain and postural imbalances, the work performed will only go to the depth that you are comfortable with. We work with you by staying in communication throughout the entire session, and only work as deeply as you allow. Interestingly, only areas that have aberrations exhibit discomfort and as soon as the problems are resolved, pressure applied in these places becomes completely comfortable!
A unique aspect of Rolfing work is that we take photos of you at the beginning and end of the process so that you are able to see how your body is changing as a result of the work.
Also, at Integrative Wellness, we don't watch the clock.
When you sign on to receive the 10 Series, we work as long as you need to accomplish the goals of each session. Because each session builds upon the previous one and requires the completion of specific goals we work until those goals are achieved without minding the clock.
$150/session (75 minutes)
$1500/10 Series (2 hours/session, on average)
